The Amsterdamsche Veld is a nature reserve of approximately 600 hectares of the Dutch Forestry Commission in the municipality of Emmen in Drenthe. The Amsterdamsche Veld used to be a peat area that stretched from at least the current hamlet of Amsterdamscheveld, now part of the village of Erica, to the remainder that is still part of the three parts of the Bargerveen; the other two are the Meerstalblok and the Schoonebeekerveld. This peat bog was once part of the Bourtanger swamp.
