The Zandenbos is a forest in the Veluwe between Vierhouten and Nunspeet. A large part of the Zandenbos is part of the Nunspeet forestry of the Dutch Forestry Commission. At Nunspeet, the forest is intersected by Rijksweg 28.
The Zandenbos is located on a relatively sparse sandy surface that was mainly created by plantations in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Because the area once consisted of bare sand drifts or heaths, a hilly terrain has been created. Over time, the area has developed into a varied terrain with different vegetation types such as deciduous and coniferous forest, heathland and small sandy plains. There are several fens in the Zandenbos, including the Waschkolk, the Mythstee and the fens behind the Round House.
