Boxbergen is a havezate and estate near Wesepe in the Overijssel municipality of Olst-Wijhe. The house was first mentioned in 1344.
The havezate Boxbergen was loaned to the Van Dorth family in 1344. The next owner of the house is a Zutphen nobleman, Berend Hadeking. Hadeking may have had problems with the city of Deventer given the strengthening of the castle as well as the subsequent peace of Hadeking in 1394. At that time, the possessions of the House of Boxbergen consisted of the Lankhorst estate, court at Hengforden, Rodekolk, the Ten Olt estate and Sogebrink estate.
