The Riels Hoefke is a nature reserve between Alphen and Riel. It is owned by the Brabants Landschap Foundation. It was originally a drifting sand area that was later forested. The area borders the Brakelse Heide to the east and the De Hoevens estate to the south. On the north side, the area borders the Oude Tilburgsebaan. In the west it borders a military site that is no longer in use. In the northwest you will find the bed of the former Bels Lijntje.
