The Buulder Aa is a small river in North Brabant.
The source area is located to the east of Hamont. The upper stretch includes the Erk or Kranjesbeek and the Kattenkuilbeek. The creek flows north and crosses the Dutch border near the hamlet of Toom, which is located west of Budel. The creek continues between Budel and Gastel and veers off in a northeastern direction. It flows to the east of Soerendonk and along Cranendonck Castle. At the bridge on the road from Maarheeze to Soerendonk, it takes in the channelized Boschloop. A little further on is a wastewater treatment plant that discharges its effluent into the Buulder Aa. The Buulder Aa then turns off in a northwestern direction to flow into the Strijper Aa southeast of Leende, after which both rivers continue their way together as Groote Aa.
Since 2012, stream restoration has been carried out in the middle course of the Buulder Aa, from the treatment plant to near Renheide. Here, the course is being made meandering again and the passage facilities of the weirs for fish are being restored. A water retention area is also being established.
