Originally, this house was a farmhouse for a long time. After its purchase by Willem Hendrik de Beaufort in 1807, it was converted into a country house. The tower dates from 1903. In the second half of the 20th century, it housed a hotel. The terrace on the beautiful pond on the east side was known as the most beautiful terrace in the Netherlands at the time. The house has been privately inhabited since 2001. Both house and garden are not accessible.
