Ursprünglich war dieses Haus lange Zeit ein Bauernhof. Nach dem Kauf durch Willem Hendrik de Beaufort im Jahr 1807 wurde es in ein Landhaus umgebaut. Der Turm stammt aus dem Jahr 1903. In der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts befand sich dort ein Hotel. Die Terrasse am schönen Teich auf der Ostseite war zu dieser Zeit bekannt als die schönste Terrasse der Niederlande. Seit 2001 wird das Haus privat bewohnt. Sowohl das Haus als auch der Garten sind nicht zugänglich.
