The St. Martin's Church in Hoogland is a church built in 1882. The building and the faith community are part of the Roman Catholic parish of Our Lady of Amersfoort. The church also has a Lourdes grotto in the garden.
In 1696, the lady of Emiclaer made available a piece of land of four hundred rods from the farm 'De Langenoord' where a church was built. In 1770, the likely wooden church was renovated. In 1840, the second renovation took place by architect Christiaan Kramm and the church was enlarged. In 1881, construction of a new church began according to the design of architect Alfred Tepe, and it was taken into use on Christmas night of 1882. Pierre Cuypers provided the decoration. The consecration of the church took place on May 21, 1883.
