The Prins Clausplein is a Dutch traffic interchange for the connection of the highways A4 and A12 near The Hague. It is an example of a strong junction. The old interchange Leidschendam, a traffic square, was officially replaced on June 20, 1985, by the Prins Clausplein interchange, named after Prince Claus. The Prins Clausplein interchange is connected to the Ypenburg interchange. In 1998, the so-called braiding structures between the Prins Clausplein interchange and the Ypenburg interchange were completed, reducing the number of congestion-sensitive weaving sections.
