Zjwingelput Sint Antoniusbank
In the sharp bend of the hamlet of Sint Antoniusbank lies the filled-in zwingelput. On a brick parapet stands a wooden canopy, covered with roof tiles, complete with a well wheel and pulley. The bucket is missing. The well was dug at the beginning of the 20th century. This well is not the only well in Sint Antoniusbank. The homestead of the same name has its own well, which is still actively used for the drinking water supply of the cattle. The homestead dates back to before 1500 and it is plausible that the well also dates from that time. The well of the homestead is located on private property. We ask you to respect this.
