Our Lady of Banneux Chapel, Ulvend
The Marian chapel is located on the Belgian-Dutch border at a crossroads in the small hamlet of Ulvend. It consists of a small, white wayside chapel containing a statue of Mary. The chapel was established in 1960 and is dedicated to Our Lady of Banneux. Many pilgrims from Limburg have passed by this chapel on their way to Banneux in Belgium. The chapel has the shape of a bell gable and is topped with a gabled roof. In a blue-painted niche, there is a statue of Mary. Below the niche, a small balcony with a railing has been added.
