Mwórveld Distillery

During one of many trips to Ireland, Ger Arts visited a small-scale whiskey distillery, and this visit sparked his interest in distilling.
He decided to learn the trade, and in 2017 he started producing spirits and whiskey on his own. In Moorveld, municipality of Meerssen, he found a beautiful location in the monumental farmhouse Moorveldshof.
At the moment, Mwórveld Distillery produces whiskey, gin, kaore (grain jenever), vodka, and eau de vie, such as a flavorful plum eau de vie.

Mwórveld Distillery aims to contribute to refining the flavor palette of distilled beverages. Flavorful distillates lead to conscious consumption, where quality takes precedence over quantity.
The flavors are achieved through the use of high-quality raw materials, an artisanal and slow distillation process, and aging in carefully selected wooden barrels.

In the distillery, regional raw materials are used, and there is maximum attention to the reuse of by-products. In all products, flavor is paramount: full, rich, and smooth.
The grain jenever, Kaore 2, Kaore 3, Kaore MCM have won awards in recent years at the International Wine and Spirits Competition in London.
The whiskey inspired by Irish tradition was released on April 25, 2021. By now, the twelfth whiskey has been bottled.
The tasting room has been expanded to twenty-three seats.
