UPDATE!! The Park has decided to no longer open the Parkcamping to camping guests as of 2023.
We are very sorry for our loyal camping guests, but unfortunately the past few years have shown that keeping the campsite open is no longer profitable. Although the campsite has been around for a long time, keeping the campsite running is not part of the Park's core business. Maintenance requires too much of our attention, time and financial resources. Another reason that played a role in this decision is that the Park exists primarily to protect the landscapes, flora and fauna that are within the grids. Partly for this reason we have fixed opening hours, to give the game as much rest as possible. Due to the presence of the campsite, the fauna was regularly disturbed, because people entered the Park outside opening hours.
Of course, we have thought about alternatives, but these have not proved feasible. For example, it was investigated whether it was possible to outsource the management with, for example, glamping or tiny houses, but these options are only profitable with a large-scale set-up. This is not desirable within the Park.
We understand how annoying it is for all the guests we have welcomed to this beautiful place year after year. We hope that everyone remembers all the beautiful moments at the campsite with great pleasure.
National Park De Hoge Veluwe will close the campsite on 1 January 2023 due to disappointing yields.
In The Hoge Veluwe National Park there was a beautiful camping site for the true nature lover, near the Hoenderloo entrance. The campsite consisted of a car-free tent field and three areas for caravans and campers. The campsite was open annually from the beginning of April to the end of October.
You could not reserve your spot on the campsite in advance!
On the day itself, you could inquire at the doorman of Ingang Hoenderloo about the number of available places on the campsite after 11 a.m.
You could buy your camping ticket at Ingang Hoenderloo. The prices below are shown in price per person per night and include tourist tax.
Please note: per night you also paid the entrance fee for the Park (and possibly a day ticket for the car when you take it into the Park). You are camping in the National Park. On the day of departure you no longer owed an entrance fee to the Park, but you could stay in the Park all day.
