The Vliegheide is a nature reserve that is part of the Goois Nature Reserve near Bikbergen, east of Bussum on the territory of the municipality of Huizen. The triangle heath is sandwiched between the Langerhuizenweg, the Oud Bussummerweg and the Vliegheiweg. The Vliegheide owes its name to the airplanes that used it in the first decades of the twentieth century.
