St. Martin's Church is a church in the Princenhage district of Breda. St. Martin's Church belongs to the Nazareth parish.
In 1261 Princenhage was elevated to an independent parish by the abbess Hildegunde van Wassenberg of the abbey of Thorn. The church tower dates from around 1400. The three-aisled nave was built between 1520 and 1564. In 1666 the tower was given a 38 meter high spire, bringing the total height of the tower to 64 meters. After being used by the Protestants for a long time, the church returned to Catholic hands in 1800. On August 1 and 2, 1873, the church was damaged by fire as a result of a lightning strike in the church. After this, the church was restored by J.J. van Langelaar according to plans by P.J.H. Cuypers. Among other things, the tower was rebuilt in neo-Gothic style and the spire replaced. The tower has a spire flanked by four turrets. On November 6, 1874, a corner turret was torn off by a storm.
