In this meadow, there are actually 7 swamp cypresses. A row of 5 specimens and two others are located a bit closer to the road. The meadow is right next to the stream Lei and the meadow itself is also very waterlogged. Ideal for the formation of knees. The trees were planted on behalf of Count Jacques van Hogendorp, who transformed this area into an estate with elements of the English landscape style at the beginning of the nineteenth century.
This tree has a circumference of 3 m, measured at a height of 1.30 m. The height is approximately 16 m. The tree was planted around 1810 ± 10 and is consequently about 213 ± 10 years old.
