The Cow Shed

On the outskirts of Maastricht lies the charming village of Bemelen. Behind a characteristic farm, you will find two atmospheric holiday homes: the Koestal and the Pinkenstal. It all started in 1975, when the previous owner expanded his dairy farm and orchard with holiday accommodations – a pioneering idea at that time.
In 2018, Els and Nico took over the estate. They exchanged city life for the peaceful countryside and thoroughly renovated the old stables, paying attention to detail and using authentic materials. This led to the creation of two modern, cozy homes that combine the charm of the past with contemporary comfort.
An ideal place for those seeking peace, hikers, and culture lovers – even a day spent ‘at the stable’ feels like a vacation here.
