At beach entrance Falga, after walking against the wind for about four kilometers, it's time to seek the protection of the dunes on a part of the North Dune Path. The red thread and eye-catcher of this hike extends meandering through the entire dune area. But first, I only use this path to reach an unpaved footpath, with the smooth asphalt mostly reserved for the return journey. It is remarkable how, so relatively close to the beach and the buildings, you can still feel like you are in a very remote area.
