A walking junction route both on Belgian and Dutch territory (Koewacht). We start at the Great Creek, creeks that form a characteristic element in a landscape with cultural-historical origins during the Eighty Years' War (1568-1648) as well as the Spanish forts with line dikes that we encounter on the route where much attention has been paid to restoring, accentuating and making it accessible to the public. We park and start at junction 88, a small sidestep at the Grote Kreek (Rode Sluis), Kruisstraat (gps house no. 74) Moerbeke-Waas. There is also a campsite with motorhome pitches for those who want to enjoy this quiet region for a few days longer. Who knows, you might come across deer like us, 2 pieces.
