This 2.5-kilometre walking route takes you through a fascinating part of the city, where the history of the railway merges with modern art and architecture. During this walking tour, you will discover some highlights, including beautiful murals, the impressive LocHal, Central Station, and the old NS buildings. Start at the imposing Central Station and admire the mix of old and new elements. Continue to the LocHal (World Building of the Year 2019), a former locomotive shed that has been transformed into an innovative building with a unique atmosphere as the 'living room of the city'. Also admire the colorful murals that brighten up the concrete walls of the railway zone. The route takes you past all the old NS buildings that now serve as cafes, meeting places, workplaces and much more. This walking route through the Spoorzone offers a fascinating mix of art, history and modern architecture in the heart of Tilburg.
