On this cycle route, impressive heroic deeds alternate with horrific events. You'll explore the area that served as an emergency landing site for Allied pilots with damaged aircraft, earning the Peel the nickname "Death Valley." This 47-kilometre route takes you to a museum farm where an English field marshal once stayed. In addition, you will pass a castle that was still under fire after the liberation. Along the way, you'll gain in-depth insights into the defenses of both the Dutch and German armies.

The Liberation Route Brabant tells the story of the liberation, but also shows what the Second World War meant for ordinary people in Brabant. Eight cycling routes, spread across North Brabant, lead you past Brabant Reminders stories, listening columns of the Liberation Route Europe, monuments and museums, which together make the impact of the war on North Brabant visible.
