This circular walk takes you along the edges of the Huis ter Heide estate. The approximately 650-hectare estate of Natuurmonumenten consists mainly of forest in the northern part. The southern part, called Loonse Heide, consists mainly of fens and agricultural plots. Landgoed Huis ter Heide is a pearl in Brabant's nature.

With the "Plan Lobelia", Natuurmonumenten has succeeded in bringing back the unspoilt wet heathland here. Flora and fauna have recovered and Scottish Highlanders provide a greater variety of vegetation. A connection has been made between the Huis ter Heide Estate and the Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park by the construction of a wildlife viaduct, the Westloonse Wissel.

Decking bridge over Moerven
From the start in De Moer, the route goes south, where you walk through an acacial avenue to the Galgeneind. Here you cross to the fens area where we pass the decking bridge over the Moerven. When we arrive at the lookout point, we have a beautiful view of the Lobelia nature restoration plan. The route continues along the Plakkeven and through the eastern part of Landgoed Huis ter Heide. Via the northwest edge and over the St. Annapadje you return to the starting point in De Moer.
