A long sporty walk in every season with, if you think you have earned it, a tasty reward in the historic Beaufort House. The walk takes you through the forests of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. After 10 km you will pass the beautiful Asparagus field. On the way back you walk along the more than two centuries old post road to the starting point in the vicinity of the former French-Batavian army camp (1804-1808), which was located north of the current N224 near Austerlitz. The history of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug is described at one of the sights.
