Discover Voerendaal through walking junctions and get to know a landscape where history, nature, and cultural history come together. During two walking routes, you will explore not only Voerendaal but also the surrounding villages and hamlets. The southeastern route (12 km) leads towards Ubachsberg, while the northwestern route (16 km) takes you to Ransdaal. Along the way, you will walk through the characteristic South Limburg hill landscape, where traces of centuries of habitation are still visible.

The fertile calcareous soil has attracted inhabitants to this region since Roman times and still forms the basis for vineyards, high-stem orchards, and other regional products. Additionally, you will discover castles, characteristic carré farms, churches, chapels, and structures made of the distinctive Kunrader stone along the way. Through walking junctions, you will experience the diverse heritage of Voerendaal, where geology, agriculture, and cultural history have together shaped the landscape.
