In the midst of the Nijmegen region lies the village of Groesbeek, surrounded by hills and vast forests. It is a beautiful hiking area with very different landscapes. This walk takes you through the Groesbeek Forestry, a lovely forest with old beech avenues and rhododendrons. Every now and then, a steep climb awaits you. But for this, you are rewarded on the Mookerheide with stunning views over the Meuse Valley and the town of Cuijk across the river. No wonder it is also referred to as the 'inner foreign country' here.
