From the Square we walk to the former mining area and later Wison Split area. This company exploited the spoil tip here, which burned from the inside, by extracting the red split gravel. At this moment, they are redeveloping this area into a green space. Then we continue along the Parkstad Cycling-Walking path to the former Miljoenenlijntje, where the steam train still runs. In the adjacent forest, there is a beautiful lookout point to view Germany over the horse landscape.
