Hiking trail GE02 - Beek - Genhoutroute

Welcome to beautiful South Limburg and especially to the municipality of Beek. This route takes you through the beautiful area around Genhout. The Genhout route of almost seven kilometers runs largely over a plateau, but also through a green, rolling valley. Due to the high location of the route there are some beautiful views. You will be amazed by the magnificent views over Beek and the industrial DSM. You discover that in this way even the silver-colored, glowing chemical installations on the horizon have something magical. In addition to the height differences, agriculture contributes the most to the landscape. In the village of Groot-Genhout, around which the route runs, the St. Hubertus church (1936) rises above the village. In Beek there are plenty of catering establishments where you can enjoy a drink and a drink. The route can be followed via the poles with black plates and white arrow.
