Heart of Brabantweg Part 2

This is the second part of the Heart of Brabant path.
You walk through the Paapenmoeren, past the estates of Ooijevaarsnest and the Hoevens, through the Alphense hills as well as the Chaamse and Ulvenhoutse forests.
For a moment, you will see and hear the hustle and bustle of the A58 below you, only to be quickly embraced by the tranquility of the small village of Molenschot with its Annakapel.
Through the Dorst forest area, you then walk towards Rijen.
Not far from the last junction (45) there is a dining facility with parking options.

This second part is again fully based on the hiking junction points found throughout the province. We have walked, checked, and adjusted the route where necessary to provide the required variety. This part was updated by us in July 2023.

This section showcases the large differences between forest areas, estates, and farmland. You walk along shady forest paths and quiet country roads. You also experience the open space where sun and wind play their game. You see the contrasts between small neighborhoods where time seems to stand still, and you pass modern farms and nurseries.
