A fantastic car-free leisure cycling route through the Global Unesco Geopark De Hondsrug! The Hondsrug area is unique. The hills and valleys were formed during the ice ages. Prehistoric man left us his treasures. For thousands of years, people shaped a landscape that is of timeless beauty.
This ultimate cycling classic will take place for the 7th time in 2019. This year there will be a new route again!
A 100+ tour from Haren to Exloo and back over the ridge of the Hondsrug. This varied tour along heath fields, through forest areas, over cobblestones, over real climbs (Buuner Bult and Bronneger Bult) and between meadows has everything that makes Drenthe so beautiful. You can count on a relaxed atmosphere and excellent refreshments along the way!
Upon your return, you will be greeted like a hero, where you can chat in the square and enjoy music with a small snack and a drink.
This tour should definitely not be missed on your list this year!
