Circular walk from Eckelrade

A beautiful and varied walk along typical half-timbered houses and old farms. The second part runs through a nice dry valley and then through a deciduous forest.
The starting and ending point is the (free) parking lot at Rosplein by the church of Eckelrade (there are also parking spaces along the Dorpsstraat).

Route description:
1. Turn left down the Dorpsstraat and walk (eastward) through the village with its beautiful half-timbered houses.
2. At the end of the village, turn right at a large white crucifix (Schampeljoensteeg).
3. A little further on a Y-junction, turn left.
4. Follow this paved road all the way to the end and turn right at the T-junction in Bruisterbosch.
5. Take the first road on the left (it becomes unpaved a bit further on).
6. Turn left at a junction.
7. Cross the paved road and take the unpaved road to the left a bit further on (MTB route).
8. Continue following this MTB route through a beautiful dry valley.
9. At a five-way junction, cross the paved road and take the MTB route again on the other side.
10. Continue following this route through the forest until a Y-junction where both branches become paved.
11. Turn left here and continue following the paved road upward until you reach Eckelrade.
12. Turn left here (Klompenstraat) and at the end of this street you will arrive back at the Start and End point.
