Tour description: Around Winterswijk, you can cycle through a historic agricultural area with beautiful forests, wooded banks, streams, heath, and raised bog. This bike route shows you the surroundings of Het Nationaal Landschap Winterswijk and takes you through the extensive nature reserve Korenburgerveen, past the authentic Achterhoeker Hof Mentink and the Hof Keunenhuis with its swamp forest Bekendelle. Enjoy the wide natural landscape in the raised bog area of Wooldse Veen. In addition, you will cycle through the diverse recreational area Hilgelo, the Winterswijk quarries, and typical Achterhoeker nature reserves such as Dottinkrade, Bönnink, Beurzerbeek, and Kotten.
