This shortcut of the Maasroute starts at the Belgian-Dutch border and ends again on the route past Limmel (Maastricht-North).
The shortcut is intended for cyclists with luggage who want to avoid the steep Sint Pietersberg (max. 13%).
On the east bank, this shortcut also stays as close to the Maas as possible.
