AzureA nice start to a walk is of course an easily accessible and spacious parking lot.
A great tour through the Elzetterbos along, among other things, the geological monument "Gravel quarry Elzetterbosch". Via hollow roads we descend to the winding Geul. On the way we pass a catering establishment and upon reaching the Geul we see a few beautiful picnic benches at a bridge. A little later we also pass the Heimans quarry and finally the Volmolen van Epen where the route runs across the courtyard.
Put on a good pair of walking shoes because during this tour we walk on different types of surfaces.
