Beautiful circular walk through the Herperduin along fens, heathland, drifting sand, play forest and a watchtower

The Herperduin is a beautiful area to explore. The area consists largely of Coniferous forest and small zones with heathland, drifting sand and fens. The walk starts from an easily accessible parking lot opposite a catering facility. Almost at the beginning of the walk we walk through a play forest, a place where the kids can stroll, climb, clamber, build huts, play with water, get dirty or play adventurous!

Immediately after the play forest we see the watchtower. The watchtower consists of 7 stairs of 16 steps each. At the top you look over the Herperduin from a height of about 24 meters.

After the visit to the watchtower we walk through drifting sand and heath towards the Klompven. There is a beautiful sandy beach near the clog and we find many benches to rest or to enjoy the view. Via the Ganzenven, forest and heath we then walk a beautiful varied walk through the Herperduin.
