Noord Coffee Roasters - River de Aa and Veghel Centre

Together with Noord Coffee, we offer several walks that start and end at the Noordkade in Veghel, where there is ample opportunity to park the car.

This walk from the Noordkade provides a beautiful impression of the centre of Veghel and the river de Aa flowing southward. Through the old harbor and Sluisstraat, we reach the banks of the river de Aa near a nature playground. Here we can take a look at the largest rapid that has been artificially created, where many canoeists find a fun challenge waiting for them.

We will now follow the river for about 3 kilometers and cross over once more along the way. Just before a weir, we turn and make a large loop back to the Noordkade via the center of Veghel.

At the Noordkade, there is a large parking area where the car can be parked. Please note, the first rows are a blue zone. Before and after the walk, you can enjoy exploring, as there is plenty to see. You can grab a nice cup of coffee near the starting point at the Noord Coffee Espresso bar, under the large hourglass.
