Camarido Beach - Caminha

Praia do Camarido , also known as Praia da Foz do Minho is one of the most scenic and versatile beaches in northern Portugal.

Located at the mouth of the Minho River , it offers a unique combination of ocean and river landscapes , surrounded by the lush Mata Nacional do Camarido.

The beach is surrounded by the pine and eucalyptus forest of the Mata Nacional do Camarido , which creates a serene and natural atmosphere. Thanks to its location on both the ocean and the river, there are plenty of opportunities for activities such as swimming, sailing, windsurfing and bodyboarding.

From the beach you have a beautiful view of the Monte de Santa Trega in Galicia and the historic Forte da Ínsua , located on a small island off the coast.
