Weldon is a census-designated place in Kern County, California, United States. It sits at the southeast tip of Lake Isabella. Weldon is located 9 miles east-southeast of Wofford Heights, at an elevation of 2,654 feet . The population was 2,642 at the 2010 census, up from 2,387 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 26.8 square miles , over 99% of it land.
