The Czech Republic has a new long-distance hiking trail that follows the northern and southern borders. The route called Stezka Českem or Czech Trail is more than 2000 kilometers. Hikers can stay overnight in mountain huts, guest houses, hotels or campsites. The route leads through almost all mountain ranges in the Czech Republic and avoids paved roads and large towns as much as possible. The long-distance hiking trail Czech Trail (Czech: Stezka Českem) is 2000 kilometers long and shows that the Czech landscape has a lot to offer. You will discover an almost untouched landscape and cross several mountain ranges. The founder of Czech Trail is Martin Úbl. As a hiking fanatic, he missed a long-distance route of more than 1000 kilometers that goes through the most beautiful and challenging areas of the Czech Republic. In 2020, together with other enthusiasts and the Czech Tourist Club, he started planning, hiking and creating routes that now form the Czech Trail.
