Your routes displayed by the RouteViewer

The routes you made previously using the RoutePlanner have been processed further, so they can be displayed in the RouteViewer. This makes it easier to share with friends, family, memebers, customers... Until now, the routes you created yourself were generated in .GPX-format. You can use that format to visualise your route and display it in GoogleEarth. From today on, the routes will also be converted to the internal RouteViewer format so you can share them and display them in the RouteViewer. It takes on average about 3-5 mins before your created route will become available in the RouteViewer. This process will allow the following:

• you routes displayed on map
• creation of a height profile of your route
• POIs (points of interest) gathered along you route and displayed along your route (in the near future)
• pictures gathered along your route and displayed along your route (in the near future)
• your route in several formats for several applications

While you are enjoying a route, we are adding information and upgrading your route. We will keep you informed when your route is upgraded with more info.

We are working hard to keep the time between the creation of you route and the extra info added as short as possible.

You are also able to add your own POIs. But that is explained in an extra news-item.
