El Wildkogel es una montaña de 2224 m sobre el nivel del mar en los Alpes de Kitzbühel, en el estado federal austríaco de Salzburgo. Esta montaña de fácil acceso, cubierta de hierba, está muy desarrollada turísticamente; en sus laderas hay una estación de esquí y al sur, debajo de la cima, se encuentra una posada. El Wildkogel ofrece, debido a su ubicación solitaria, una impresionante vista panorámica que ya fue descrita en la literatura en el siglo XIX, entre otros, hacia el Großvenediger.
