El Gigalitz es una montaña de 3001 m sobre el nivel del mar en el Floitenkamm de los Alpes de Zillertal, entre Floitengrund y Stillupgrund. Se considera la montaña local del refugio Greizer. Desde el refugio Greizer se sigue el camino hacia el Lapenscharte hasta un desvío indicado a aproximadamente 2,500 m de altura. A través de senderos marcados se asciende por la poco marcada cresta suroeste y luego por rocas cubiertas de hierba, de manera empinada y expuesta, hasta las dos cumbres. Es delicado en condiciones de humedad y nieve, siendo necesario un clima seco. En la cumbre norte hay un círculo de dirección de metal. Tiempo de caminata desde el refugio Greizer: aproximadamente 2.5 horas.
