Hasta 1889, Hove no tenía estación. En 1892 se construyó una sala de espera en un antiguo vagón de ferrocarril sin ruedas. El 01/10 de 1898 se inauguró un primer edificio de piedra. En 1932 se excavó la vía del ferrocarril, ya que la línea 25 fue electrificada, se añadieron 2 vías dobles y un nuevo edificio de estación al otro lado. El actual puente ferroviario reemplazó la barrera. El edificio de la estación está cerrado ahora y funciona como café.
