El hermoso Predikherenhof en la Heistraat es desde hace tiempo una conocida propiedad rural y fue construido en su forma actual como residencia de verano de la familia Van Pottelberghe de la Poterie (cf. escudo de armas). Hay un hermoso parque circundante y un castillo aún parcialmente amurallado en estilo neorococó diseñado por el conocido arquitecto V. Vaerwyck. Esta versión data de 1909. Está inspirado en la fachada rocallosa de la "Hoofdwacht" en Kouter en Gante. La fachada incluye un frontón cornisa con óculo enmarcado y escudos de armas de la familia Van Pottelberghe de la Poterie.
