Casa consistorial en estilo neoclásico diseñada por el arquitecto bruselense Antoine Trappeniers, con la colocación de la primera piedra el 15 de mayo de 1870 y la inauguración el 11 de mayo de 1873, ver las placas conmemorativas en el vestíbulo, el año MDCCCLXX (1870) en la fachada y los planes de construcción conservados en el Servicio de Obras Municipales; ya registrado en el catastro en 1870.
