El Ros Beiaard fue creado por el artista belga Olivier Strebelle para la Expo 58, donde se encontraba cerca del pabellón de Bell Telephone. La escultura data de 1953 y representa el Ros Beiaard con los cuatro hijos de la patria a sus espaldas. Después de la Expo, fue instalado en Namur, a orillas del Mosa.
