El STAM o Museo de la Ciudad de Gante es una visita obligada durante un viaje a Gante. El museo presenta la historia de la ciudad de Gante de una manera maravillosamente interactiva. Es parte de la Abadía de Bijloke, que en sí misma ya merece una visita. Con la colección Bijloke como base y la Abadía de Bijloke y el Monasterio de Bijloke como edificios, STAM desarrolla una función como foro de patrimonio contemporáneo. Una de las salas más populares del museo es aquella donde puedes caminar sobre una foto aérea y ver todos los detalles de la ciudad.
