El Parque de Beervelde es un parque de castillo de 25ha que fue diseñado y creado en 1873 en estilo paisajístico inglés. La intención de los encargados, los Condes de Kerchove de Denterghem, era hacer del parque una vitrina para la entonces incipiente horticultura de Gante. Incluso hoy, 135 años después, la familia de Kerchove de Denterghem sigue estando estrechamente involucrada en la promoción de la horticultura de Gante. El Conde André es el actual presidente de la asociación sin ánimo de lucro que organiza las Florales de Gante. El Conde Renaud gestiona el Parque de Beervelde y organiza a mediados de mayo y a mediados de octubre los internacionalmente famosos Días de Jardín de Beervelde, donde puedes visitar estos hermosos jardines.
