Oostkerke es un pueblito belga de polders y una parte del municipio de la ciudad de Damme, en Flandes Occidental; fue un municipio independiente hasta la reorganización municipal de 1977. En 1974, Oostkerke fue elegida como el pueblo más bonito de Flandes Occidental. Oostkerke se desarrolló en una elevación - natural o artificial - en una zona de marismas. Aunque se menciona por primera vez por escrito en 1028 como Ostkerka, la historia de su origen puede remontarse al siglo VIII. En 1089, se menciona por primera vez una parroquia independiente.
