De Overmolen está situada en la Blekte a unos metros del punto de ciclo 25. Esta es la última de los tres molinos de agua que Hofstade alguna vez conoció. La rueda de agua ha desaparecido. Dentro del molino hay tres pares de piedras de moler. El molino de agua no está protegido, pero afortunadamente figura en la lista de patrimonio valioso. Originalmente, el Molenbeek desembocaba en Hofstade en la 'Vieja Dender' cerca del pueblo. Posteriormente, el arroyo continuaba a través de esta Vieja Dender hasta Gijzegem. Hoy en día, el Molenbeek ha sido completamente cubierto un poco más adelante y fluye invisiblemente, bajo la calle Hendrik Consciencestraat hacia su desembocadura 'nueva' en la Dender, al final de esta calle.
