El Castillo de Mirwart está ubicado en la provincia de Luxemburgo, cerca del pueblo de Mirwart. El castillo está situado en una colina rocosa con vistas al río Lomme. El castillo fue construido en el siglo XI y fue vendido en 1084 por Richilde de Hainaut a Enrique I de Verdún, príncipe-obispo de Lieja. El príncipe-obispo cede la administración al cabeza de la abadía de Saint-Hubert. En 1099, el abad destruye el castillo. Otberto, el sucesor de Enrique, ordena que se reconstruya.
